Making Fresh Rosemary Syrup For The White Wine Spritzer Cocktail
Fresh rosemary-infused syrup adds a special sweet note that laces this summer watermelon spritzer cocktail with a hint of rosemary flavor. It pairs really well with the fresh muddled watermelon. Take a few sprigs of fresh rosemary and steep them in a pan with equal parts sugar and water.
Gently poke the rosemary to release its flavor into the syrup. When you can start to smell the aroma of the rosemary, you know its working! Once the syrup is finished steeping, you can take out the rosemary sprigs and let the syrup cool. Transfer to a jar with a tight-fitting lid and keep in the refrigerator.
