Lamute Gang’s Adventure Journal

Introduction

Lamute Gang’s Adventure Journal is a series of BDO quests/achievements you can complete for Rainbow Petal/Fish Bone Coins. You must complete the Adventure Journal to unlock three questlines:

[The Great Expedition] Papua Crinea
[The Great Expedition] Papua Crinea: Papuraora
[The Great Expedition] Papua Crinea: Crioniak

Now that you have unlocked the adventure log, you can view the chapters and begin to complete the tasks in each one. Open your ESC menu and go to the “Adventure” tab and then select “Adventure Log Bookshelf” to view your available adventure logs.

Click the book titled “Lamute Gang’s Aventure Journal” 9 – 13 under the “Crow Merchant’s Records” category to get started. You will start with the first book only, and will unlock the next book once you have completed all of the tasks in the previous one.

Lamute Gang’s Adventure Journal: Book 1

Collect each of the materials beforehand to complete this book faster: Milk x1, Honey Wine x1 OR Five-Grain Chicken Porridge, Noc Ingot x1

Give Milk to Benns Carter

Benns Carter can be found in Grandiha at the location shown below

Give Noc Ingot to Benns Euron

You can find Benns Euron just oppostite on Benns Carter

Give Honey Wine/Chicken Porridge to Benns Chasey

You can find Benns Chasey on the right of Benns Euron. Speak to her and give her either Honey Wine x1, or Five-Grain Chicken Porridge x1

Tell Benns Ruberen the Secret Code

Stand near Benns Ruberen and enter “999” in general chat

Open the Secret Book

Go left after speaking to Benns Ruberen and go into the building. Go past the fountain in the middle onto the other side and through the archway. You can find the statue on your right outside on the balcony and a pile of books is there which you can interact with to complete the first part of the journal.

Lamute Gang’s Adventure Journal: Book 2

Book 2 focuses on the Papuraora questline. It begins on the north side of Papua Crinea island at the wharf manager “Monmunia”. Take the quest from her and she will send you to go talk to Benns Moanna. She will give you a “Transformation scroll” which must be used within 24 hours of completing the quest. Speak to her again to get the next quest. If you lose the scroll, you can buy a new one from her for 100k silver.

Use the scroll and it will summon a Papu next to you. Press [R] to interact with the Papu and transform into one temporarily. Now you will be able to speak to the Papu NPCs on the island and unlock the second book.

Find the Dream Doctor and offer a gift

You must find the Dream Doctor on the island give her a type of fruit. The fruit you must give her depends on your characters zodiac sign.
You can buy the fruit from Benns Moana

Look at the map and go to the Papu

Go back to Monmunia (Wharf Manager) and click the chat option to speak to her and complete this chapter.

Give the Porong Floral Wreath to the Dream Doctor

Take the quest “[Papuraora] Let’s Starve Otters” from Monmunia and complete the quest. There are different quests you can obtain. There is a fishing quest, a quest which tells you to simply hand in some fruits, and a quest which requires you to spend energy. Make sure to check which quest you get in your quest log (under Suggestions tab).

You cannot fish while in Papu transformation so you will need to press [SHIFT] + [R] to transform back. To turn back into a Papu you need to go back to Benns Moanna and summon the Papu again. Completing the quest will give you the Porong Floral Wreath required for this chapter. Give the item to the Dream Doctor to complete the chapter.

Talk to the Dream Doctor

Speak to the Dream Doctor and click the chat option at the bottom then “You have something you want to give to me, pu…?”. Make sure you are still in Papu form and then go up the stairs on the right and interact with the Best Flower there. Leave the Papu form by presing [SHIFT] + [R] then speak to your Black spirit and chat to him to complete the adventure log book.

You will then get follow on quests from your black spirit which require to turn back into a Papu again and speak to the fruit soldier next to the Best Flower you just spoke to. This will unlock book 3 but requires 5 days of daily quests to complete. You can also skip to Book 4 now and complete this.

Meet the Caretaker of the Garden of Birth

Book 3 continues from Book 2. Turn into a Papu again by going to Benns Moanna and using the transformation scroll. If you don’t have one you can buy from her for 100k silver. Head up to the top of the hill by following the pathway and talk to the Caretaker there. You will be given a Flower Filled With Determination. Speak to her again and receive the quest she gives called “[Papuraora] The Calling of the Papus”.

Complete the Mediocre Stonecrab Training

Once you’ve spoken to the Caretaker and received the quest “[Papuraora] The Calling of the Papus”, follow the autopath onto the east beach and speak to Muadiya to complete and pick up a follow on quest and go back to Benns Moanna to complete. She will then give you a new green scroll which you must use to turn into a Combat Papu. So go out of your current form by pressing [SHIFT] + [R], then use the new green scroll in your inventory. You can then talk to the training dummy in front of you to summon the crab.

If you lose the scroll, you can get a new one by speaking to Benns Moanna and using your energy.

You can attack the crab by pressing [LMB], [RMB] or [F]. After killing the crab, go back to Muadiya to hand in the quest. You can do this whilst still in Combat Papu form.

You need to do the daily crab quest 2 times to complete this part of the adventure journal. On the second day, go back to Benns Moanna to obtain the quest again to kill the Mediocre Stonecrab. Then go back to Muadiya to complete this chapter.

Become appointed as aide by Commander Garania

This part of the book requires you to have completed all 5 days of the crab kill quests. The quests do get harder each day and it is recommended that you do them in a party.

Once you’ve finished all 5 dailies you can then go to Garania to completely finish book 3.

Lamute Gang’s Adventure Journal: Book 4

Book 4 focuses on the Crioniak questline. You must first complete the quests under “[The Great Expedition] Papuo Crinea: Crioniak”. It begins on the south side of Papua Crinea island at the wharf manager “Shalio”. Take the quest from him and he will send you to go talk to Benns Morio. She will give you a “Transformation scroll” which must be used within 24 hours of completing the quest. Speak to her again to get the next quest. If you lose the scroll, you can buy a new one from her for 100k silver.

Use the scroll and it will summon an Otter next to you. Press [R] to interact with the Otter and transform into one temporarily. Now you will be able to speak to the Otter NPCs on the island and unlock the forth book.

Obtain Knowledge of the Queekity Thumpity Moon Village

Go through the cave and head left onto the beach on the west side of the island. Turn right and you will find a group of tents and in this area you can find an invisible object to interact with to obtain the knowledge.

Join the Abyssal Pearl Fishism

Go back through the cave and you can find the NPC you need to speak to on the east side of the cave. Speak to him and click the chat option then “I wish to join your religion. Queek…”. You will then be taken to another NPC north east of the island. Here you need to collect one of the fish listed. You cannot fish while in Otter transformation so you will need to press [SHIFT] + [R] to transform back. To turn back into an Otter again you need to go back to Benns Morio and summon the Otter again. Give the fish back to Berdao in the cave to complete the quest

Find out the secret of the suspicious ritual

You will now need to complete the quests in your suggested tab again to proceed with the adventure log. You can get these from Berado and then follow the autopath to the Suspicious Flower to complete. Here you will get another quest from the flower which requires you to chat with the flower 4 times. Go back to Berado to complete and then follow the autopath again to go to the next NPC and chat with him 3 times to complete this page. Check your quest log (Suggested tab) if you get confused at any point.

Get a letter of recommendation

Speak to Puranuo again to get the next quest then follow the autopath route to Pikeo and talk to him to complete the quest. Collect another quest here.

The quest you receive requires you to kill a few monsters on the island. Leave Otter form by pressing [SHIFT] + [R] and use the new scroll given to you. Follow the autopath to find the area you can transform in and use the new green scroll in your inventory. With this otter you can now hit the monsters by pressing [LMB], [RMB] or [F]. Your otter may die while killing the monsters and you will be transformed back into your normal form. Just go back and use the scroll again.

Once completed, go back to Pikeo to finish book 4 and unlock book 5. You can go back to Pikeo in the combat otter form.

Lamute Gang’s Adventure Journal: Book 5

Pass the Otter Military Academy entrance exam

Book 5 continues from Book 4. Turn into an Otter again by going to Benns Morio and using the transformation scroll. If you don’t have one you can buy from her for 100k silver. Head up to the top of the hill on the north side. If you aren’t sure where to go, follow the quest in your suggested tab > “[Crioniak] Otter Military Academy Entrance Exam”. You will go back to Pikeo and speak to him to get the quest. Then head back down the stairs and to the left towards the west side of the beach. Speak to Ticirio to hand over the letter.

You will then have to speak to him and complete a series of tests (each answer is 15 energy). The correct answers are listed below:

Question 1: Craorshur
Question 2: Papu
Question 3: Thousand Year War

Pick up the quest afterwards and you have completed this chapter of the book.

Defeat the Mediocre Stoneback Crab

Once you’ve spoken to Ticirio and completed his test, you will be given another quest. Follow the autopath onto the north beach and speak to Benns Morio to complete. So go out of your current form by pressing [SHIFT] + [R], then use the new green scroll in your inventory. You can then talk to the training dummy in front of you to summon the crab.
