Outside of the Center, I've found a supportive community here at Godwin, especially in performing arts (choir, although our other performing arts programs are amazing), and there's lots of school pride, especially during football season. I've had great experiences in my classes with supportive teachers who love teaching, including rigorous ones. The school is saturated with diversity and culture. The teachers are (usually) genuinely interested in what they are teaching and engage with the students. The workload is fine, I can game for 4 hours and still get work done. The school really teaches you time management. I would advise future students to be mindful of the people they are about to meet though. Fights happen every week between students. Teachers as I pointed out are usually fine, but there are like 2 or 3 that show a lack of knowledge in their own subject or are straight up sexist/ hom*ophobic.
