I don't know about you, but I'm of a mind that unless I inherit property from my parents, I may never be able to afford a home.
Or, that was my thought before I started looking around for cheap old homes in Quebec. The whole thing started when I came across this Instagram page called literally that: @cheapoldhomes. They don't have a lot of properties in Canada, so it got me wondering...
I love an older home because of how much character they have... and there are a lot of adorable historic homes in Montreal that are worth ogling over...
But historic homes in or near the city are just not cheap. You need to widen your search and be willing to get a little off the beaten path.
So while the homes listed below aren't necessarily a jump outside the city, they are definitely cheap, cute and old.
Please enjoy these 20 homes in Quebec that are adorable and affordable, with a ton of character.
You won't be disappointed.
