Introduction
Alustin’s Alchemy Journal is a set of quests/achievements you can complete for extra rewards in your Adventure log. The Alustin Alchemy Journal is easy to complete and simply requires you to hand in various alchemy ingredients or elixirs. Both the Alustin Alchemy Journal and Caphras’ Record Adventure Log reward a large amount of Caphras Stones. However, please check if each chapter is worth completing because some materials cost more to craft than the amount of Caphras you get in return.
Now that you have unlocked the adventure log, you can view the chapters and begin to complete the tasks in each one. Open your ESC menu and go to the “Adventure” tab and then select “Adventure Log Bookshelf” to view your available adventure logs. Click the books titled “Alustin’s Alchemy Journal” 7 – 9 under the “Shakatu Merchan’ts Archive” category to get started.
When you complete a goal, you must press the reward text in your Adventure log to receive the reward. Use the buttons at the bottom of the pages to turn each page of the chapter.

Obtain a Caphras Stone (10 Caphras Stones)
You can obtain the Caphras Stone either through gathering or creating it yourself.
To create a Caphras Stone open the Processing Window (L) then choose Simple Alchemy and combine Ancient Spirit Dust x5 + Black Stone x1
Hand over 1500 Clear Liquid Reagents (20 Caphras Stones)
The recipe for Clear Liquid Reagent is:
- Salt x1
- Sunrise Herb x1
- Purified Water x1
- Obtained by Processing (L) > Filtering Bottle of River Water x1
- Wild Grass or Weed x1
Requires Beginner Lv 1+ in Alchemy.

Hand over 1,000 Fierce Demihuman Hunting Elixir (50 Caphras Stones)
Fierce Demihuman Hunting Elixir is the blue proc version of Elixir of Demihuman Hunt.
The recipe for Elixir of Demihuman Hunt is:

- Arrow Mushroom x4
